Francine Dupuits has extensive experience in executive search. She started at Cap Gemini in the late 90s. Inspired by progressive HR management, she laid a solid foundation in the field of recruitment and HR. She picked up both the practical aspects of inspiring leaders and the theoretical background through internal training and the P&O course at the Hogeschool Utrecht. After an assignment of 1.5 years at Cap Gemini University in Paris, she switched to the agency side: a renowned Amsterdam headhunting firm where Francine further developed the ‘intricacies’ of the profession as a senior consultant. In the following years, she combined executive search assignments, both independently and in cooperation with third parties, with interim activities of various kinds.

Francine has experience with management, board, and specialist positions within amongst others the financial, legal, IT, real estate, and consultancy sectors. From (inter)national corporates, Big 4 offices, to medium-sized and PE/VC companies. She stands for flexibility, speed, creativity, integrity, and commitment, where quality always comes first. Francine Dupuits joined de Vroedt & Thierry in 2021 because of these shared core values and the fact that craftsmanship here goes hand in hand with innovative techniques and ‘the eagerness to know more.

The vision of Francine
“The world is increasingly characterized by one constant and that is change. The job market and the business world are also subject to this. People must be able to adapt faster and faster to keep up with all the changes and innovations, let alone to be able to manage them or be ahead of them. I consider adaptability (AQ) to be one of the most important success factors. Prof. L.C Megginson has aptly summarized this from Darwin’s Origin of Species: “It is not the most intellectual of the species that survives; it is not the strongest that survives, but the species that survives is the one that is able best to adapt and adjust to the changing environment in which it finds itself.”

The continuous changes in companies and functions also require us to be more creative than before to find the best match. In addition, diversity of ideas and background play an increasingly important role, even in business. For me, that means looking beyond a resume, past experiences, and past achievements. It requires a genuine interest in personal qualities, (intrinsic) motives, strategy, (current) context, diversity, and a way of working and thinking that goes beyond the obvious. I find this approach, the deepening and the ability to make the ultimate match between people and business, as fascinating as ever.”
