Privacy statement

De Vroedt & Thierry treats the personal information of all our candidates with the utmost care, in the strictest confidence and in line with applicable data protection legislation, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND USE OF PERSONAL DETAILS
De Vroedt & Thierry processes personal details only when required to be able to carry out our assignments. Data that may be saved includes: information from a CV, such as your name and address, date of birth, current and former jobs. Salary information and interview reports may also be saved.

USE OF INFORMATION FOR EMAILING/POST PURPOSES
De Vroedt & Thierry may use personal information (name, address, email address) to send correspondence, either by post or email. This purpose of this correspondence could be:
– to inform a candidate about, and invite them to, future events
– to congratulate a candidate on a new job
– to send newsletters and/or press releases to candidates

You can unsubscribe to such correspondence at any time.

RIGHT TO REVIEW
You are entitled to review the information we process about you.

RIGHT TO AMEND
If mistakenly incorrect information is stored despite our efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the data, we will correct it at your request.

WITHDRAWING PERMISSION, RIGHT TO OBJECT AND LIMIT
To revoke permission previously granted, please send a letter to De Vroedt & Thierry, De Boelelaan 32, 1083 HJ Amsterdam or email secretariaat@devroedtenthierry.nl. At any time you are entitled to object to your details being stored. Please do so in writing to either of the above addresses. You are also entitled to limit the processing and transfer of the personal information we have on you being stored with a third party.

SECURITY OF INFORMATION
Our entire staff safeguards, at all times, the confidentiality of information that is entrusted to them by a client or a candidate.

De Vroedt & Thierry also has technical and organisational security measures in place to protect all the personal information we manage, as much as possible, against manipulation, loss, deletion and being accessed by unauthorised persons. We continuously improve our security measures in line with technological developments.
