Talent viewed in the specific context

Our vision is that executive search is not only about ‘sec’ the most talented candidate, but about talent in a specific context. Talent is not universal, but situational and strongly context dependent (the universal talent myth). That is why we start every executive search by mapping out the customer’s specific situation. By means of this ‘context scan’ we delve into the following aspects:

  • the current strategy
  • the culture of the organisation
  • the phase the organisation is in
  • the main challenges of the organisation (short & long term)
  • the objectives
  • the closest colleagues (the complementary match at team level)
  • 'Top talent 'sec' has no meaning. Everything depends on the context; i.e. the strategy, the culture, the issues at hand, the other key players and the profile being complementary.'
