Beyond just ‘the usual suspects’

De Vroedt & Thierry has been known for almost 45 years for the fact that we include in our longlists ‘surprising’ candidates wherever possible and not only propose ‘the usual suspects’. We are one of the very first signatories of the Talent to the Top charter, which aims at having more women in top positions, and wrote the book ‘Diversity as a Challenge’ in 2010 (only available in Dutch). A longlist is presented in each procedure in which, if desired, at least 50% of the candidates are female. In addition, we are also committed to bringing multicultural and other ‘diverse’ top talents to the attention of our customers.

Diversity in teams and organisations is an important pre-condition for success in today’s rapidly changing world. Welcoming differences in background, view and personality can lead to better decision-making, greater customer focus, more cooperation and innovation, and a more attractive working climate.

In addition to general executive coaching, we also offer executive coaching specifically aimed at women, with the aim of empowering them even more.

Diversity in the broadest sense as an important starting point

Diversity in the broadest sense of the word (all points where people can differ from each other) is an important starting point in our searches. We prefer to select not only at individual level, but also at team level. Therefore, we map out the composition of the team and the wishes of our customer at the start of each search in order to achieve an optimal match.
