Margreth studied Business Administration at Nyenrode University. She started her career as a consultant, first in cost management at a predecessor of EY in Chicago, USA and then as a strategy consultant at Monitor Company (now Monitor Deloitte). She continued her career at ING Bank where she worked in the international natural research team. In 1997, she decided to make a switch to executive search and joined YESS International Consultants, a subsidiary of Egon Zehnder. She quickly became partner there and later, together with Edith Koetsier, became the owner of the company. Since 2020, YESS has been part of Boer&Croon and in 2025 Margreth switched to De Vroedt & Thierry, now also part of Boer&Croon. Within De Vroedt & Thierry, Margreth is responsible for the CFO practice and works mainly for Private Equity portfolio companies and family businesses. In addition to her CFO practice, Margreth also works in senior positions in the financial services sector.

Margreth’s vision
For me, it is essential that people work in a position where they can make the most of their qualities and follow their passion. When someone is using his or her talents and motivations in the most optimal way, a natural flow is created in which performance improves and job satisfaction increases. A job where you are truly empowered will ensure that you not only excel at what you do, but also get real satisfaction from your work. This leads to growth, motivation and success – both for the person and for the organization.
